WORLD BOOK DAY SPONSORED READATHON
Wow! What a wonderful Readathon we all had.
We’ve managed to raise just over £1,000 following this exciting event. I’d like to thank you for your kindness and generosity particularly in times of financial difficulty, we understand that you can’t always make financial donations however, please know that every child took part and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Books have already been purchased with themes to develop diversity, equality, well-being, values and rights.

DRINKING WATER
As a school we encourage independent drinking of water. Please speak to your child to encourage them to do this.
PTA -MOTHER’S DAY STALLS –THURSDAY 16TH & FRIDAY 17TH MARCH
This year PTA are fundraising slightly differently, by selling “JAR’S OF HAPPINESS”
The PTA will be hosting a Mother’s Day “jars of happiness” gift activity session during school hours on Thursday 16th & Friday 17th March,
donation of £4 towards the activity session this will cover costs and to continue to enable the PTA to raise funds for the school.

RED NOSE DAY – FRIDAY 17TH MARCH
Pupils can wear their Red nose memorabilia or dress in something that makes you feel happy. Make a donation if you’re able by following the link on Parent pay.
TUESDAY 21ST MARCH -DOWNS SYNDROME DAY
Pupils can wear odd socks and bring in a £1
PARENT CONSULTATIONS – WEDNESDAY 29TH & THURSDAY 30TH MARCH
A 10 minutes consultation will be held over the telephone. Further information to follow.
PTA PRE-LOVED UNIFORM JUMPERS & CARDIGANS
Any unwanted school Jumpers or Cardigans the PTA can sell on their facebook page. Please hand into the school office.
