PARKING

Remember to park responsibly and respectfully when dropping off and collecting your child. We have recently received emails from local residents complaining that parents are parking across driveways and on the grass verges, often obstructing access. This is causing our neighbours some distress. We value the support of our neighbours and community, please work in partnership with school to ensure the safety of our school community by not parking on the yellow zig zag lines outside the school gates.

APPROPRIATE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA UPDATE

We ask parents to refrain from inappropriate use of social media where this could bring the school into disrepute. Thank you for your support in this matter.

Transition Day 3rd July

Transition day will take place next Wednesday. This means that your child will have the opportunity to meet the class teacher for next year and spend some time working in their new class. Nursery will be closed to current pupils in order for the new intake to visit and become familiar with staff and the setting throughout the school day (appointments times have been given).

New Reception pupils will come to school for 2.15pm to visit staff and the class, during this time parents will attend a meeting with Mrs Smith in the school hall. All other classes will arrive at school and leave school as usual.

Year 6 will need to come to school as usual. We are very much looking forward to meeting our new intake pupils and welcoming new families to Mount Pleasant Primary School.
