ECO News! Walk to School Feedback 

Many thanks to all of those who took part in Monday’s walk to school monthly initiative.

I know it is easy in our busy lifestyles to jump in the car but it is important to take the opportunity to walk and appreciate the world around us when we can. It certainly makes me start my day well by taking in some fresh air.

I’m pleased to announce that almost every class has improved from September’s results. The winning class for September and October has been 2C. Well done to them. 

We will try to keep the ‘walk to school’ initiative day the first Monday of each month. So the next will be the first Monday back after half term (6.11.2023). Let’s aim to get one more child walking that day in each class.

HARVEST FESTIVAL – WEDNESDAY 18^TH OCTOBER

There will be a letter text to parents this week regarding our annual collection for Harvest Festival. We will be collecting non perishable items for the Christchurch foodbank. There is an extensive list of items required listed on the letter. Please be aware the foodbank are very short of the following…………………………………………..

Pasta Sauces

Small jars of coffee

Small bottles of squash

Biscuits

Size 6 Nappies

Washing up liquid

Deodorant

Any donations are appreciated.

PARENT CONSULTATIONS – WEDNESDAY 25^TH & THURSDAY 26^TH OCT

Face to Face Parent Consultations will be taking place in the school hall on Wednesday 25^th and Thursday 26^th October 2023. You will be able to book via TEXT to Parents from week beginning Monday 9^th October.

Nursery consultations will be arranged at a later date and will be held during the school day. More information to come!
