SAFE CYCLING YR 6 – MONDAY 29TH JANUARY – THURSDAY 1ST FEBRUARY 24
Year 6 will be taking part in Safe Cycling session from Monday 29th January to Thursday 1st February. Remember to bring your bike and helmet. Please wear warm suitable PE kit to school with a school jumper. All bicycles to be walked in from the gate and parked along the blue railings outside Year 6.
Clubs
Thank you all for interested in our afterschool clubs. We had 186 requests, don’t be disappointed if your child hasn’t managed to secure a place this term, we will endeavour to make sure children who haven’t had an opportunity get to do so. Huge thanks to the staff who run our clubs on a voluntary basis, we really appreciate it.
Rugby Tournament
Our Rugby team will be taking part in the Newport Schools Under 11 Rugby tournament at Spytty on Thursday 1st February. We look forward to finding out how they get on.
PTA
Huge thanks to the PTA for being successful in winning two mud kitchens from landscapes for learning (local business in Caerphilly) for school. We will receive 1 x 2m mud and more kitchen and 1 x mud kitchen which has been donated by PTA. We shared this news in assembly with pupils. We are absolutely thrilled. Thank you

Parent consultations
Parent consultations from Reception to Year 6 will be held on Wednesday 13thand 14th March 2024, these will be face to face in the school hall. Appointments can be booked via Text to Parents, a link to the booking form will be scheduled for Thursday 8th February. Information regarding Nursery consultations will be sent to parents directly.
