Welcome back!
A great start to the Autumn term! Welcome to all of our new families joining the Mount Pleasant community. The nursery and reception children have settled with ease and the rest of the school have been exemplary across all areas of school life. A warm welcome to Mrs Morgan (Y3 teacher) and Mr Prewett (deputy head teacher) who have started in post this September.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say farewell and good luck to Mrs Wagstaff and Miss Morgan as they leave their posts at Mount Pleasant to embark on exciting new adventures. I look forward to working with you all over the academic year to provide the best possible education for our children.

FOUNDATION PHASE - CHANGE TO AFTERNOON PLAY
In line with Foundation Phase pedagogy afternoon play as you have previously known it has changed. Our Foundation Phase staff will not be timetabling their playtimes, the children will be provided with opportunities for learning and play inside and out of the classroom throughout the school day. Please could you support us by making sure your child has appropriate clothing in school for all types of weather. E.g. a waterproof coat, wellington boots (clearly labelled), hat, gloves and scarf during the winter months. Many thanks Foundation Phase staff
CHARTWELLS - SCHOOL MEAL PRICE INCREASE - FROM MONDAY 18th September
Meals will cost £2.10 per day from 18th September.
