Football Club

Afterschool football club will be moved to Thursday 9^th February next week due to a home game being arranged between Malpas Church and Mount Pleasant. Please come along and support our team, the game is expected to finish later that 4.00pm. Thank you to Mr Lock for organising.

Punctual and regular school attendance is an essential requirement for successful learning and well-being from the time a child starts school. Loss of learning is likely to have a detrimental effect on your child’s achievement and well-being.

0 days of school                                            = 100%    (Perfection)

Equates to 2 days off school each year   = 99%      (Excellent)

Equates to 5 days off school each year   = 97%      (Good)

Equates to 10 days off school each year = 95%      (Slight Concern)

Equates to 20 days off school each year = 90%      (Concerned)

Equates to 30 days off school each year =  85%     (Very Concerned)

Please make sure you don’t book holidays in term time. Research shows that there is a link between a child’s regular attendance at school and how well they perform academically.

Punctuality is equally important
